Her daughter Raffaella, Canadian born in 2017, is of mixed Italian and Sri Lankan origins. Both mother and daughter share a passion for the arts actively pursuing martial arts and dance for many years now.

The self-taught artists have been using various mixed media techniques since 2020. They favour acrylic and glass as mediums and experiment with abstract to suggestively figurative subjects. Their works focus on the whimsical and the pretty little things in life.

“My daughter is my inspiration, catalyst, and grounding force, always helping me see beauty in chaos. We share a love for and are inspired by all things whimsical, beautiful and shiny, including butterflies, princesses and fairy dust. We bond through art and strive to spread magic, one painting at a time.”
