Dive into the vibrant universe of Hien Tran, a passionate artist of Vietnamese origin. Coming from a background where art was absent, Hien fled the war in 1975 in search of a better future. It was not until 1993 that her encounter with art truly began, during the exhibition "The Awake Dreamer" by Alfred Pellan. This significant experience opened up an infinite world of possibilities and awakened in her an insatiable thirst for creativity.

Throughout her journey, she met the paternal grandfather of her children, also an artist, who introduced her to the mystical lights of Brittany, a region where Impressionists had left their mark. Inspired by French art, Hien set out to create a personal style, blending her discoveries and her own perception of colors, despite her limited knowledge at the time. This artistic exploration was part of her quest for identity, within a world that was intimidating for a young woman seeking her place.

Out of fear of the uncertainty of a field that is often unstable, Hien put her passion for art on hold, choosing to devote herself to her family and work. However, over time and with moments of regained freedom, she decided to revive her emotions through art.

In recent years, Hien Tran has refocused on her artistic practice, rediscovering the enthusiasm and vitality of her beginnings. Her works are now a vibrant testimony to her resilience, her multiple influences, and her unquenchable passion for creation and colors

Plongez dans l'univers vibrant de Hien Tran, une artiste passionnée d'origine vietnamienne. Issue d'un milieu où l'art était absent, Hien a fui la guerre en 1975 à la recherche d'un avenir meilleur. Ce n'est qu'en 1993, lors de l'exposition « The Awake Dreamer » d'Alfred Pellan, que sa rencontre avec l'art a vraiment commencé. Cette expérience marquante lui a ouvert un monde infini de possibilités et a éveillé en elle une soif insatiable de créativité.

Au cours de son périple, elle a rencontré le grand-père paternel de ses enfants, lui aussi artiste, qui lui a fait découvrir les lumières mystiques de la Bretagne, région où les impressionnistes ont laissé leur empreinte. Inspirée par l'art français, Hien s'est lancée dans la création d'un style personnel, mêlant ses découvertes et sa propre perception des couleurs, malgré ses connaissances limitées de l'époque. Cette exploration artistique s'inscrivait dans sa quête d'identité, au sein d'un monde intimidant pour une jeune femme à la recherche de sa place.

De peur de l'incertitude d'un domaine souvent instable, Hien a mis sa passion pour l'art entre parenthèses, choisissant de se consacrer à sa famille et à son travail. Cependant, au fil du temps et grâce à des moments de liberté retrouvée, elle a décidé de raviver ses émotions à travers l'art.

Ces dernières années, Hien Tran s'est recentrée sur sa pratique artistique, retrouvant l'enthousiasme et la vitalité de ses débuts. Ses œuvres témoignent aujourd'hui avec éclat de sa résilience, de ses influences multiples et de sa passion inextinguible pour la création et les couleurs.
