Biography

Born in Summerland, BC in 1975, Trevor now calls Nanaimo, BC home. Trevor creates pop art with a modern twist. His inspirations include artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and Jean Michel Basquiat. He likes to take the viewer into his work and keep them captivated. He paints vibrant, colourful works that play on pop culture and his love of comic book art. He approaches his works with the idea of it being a kind of romance with the process, working hard to create aesthetically pleasing portraits of people and animals. He incorporates his background of drawing, knowledge and experience of screen printing, painting, and imagination. An understanding of art through high school and Post-Secondary animation school, he has an eye for design and composition that shows in his work. A lifelong process of honing his skills learned and adapting to change has given Trevor a direction in which to present his talents and life experiences.
