Biography
Ilana Block is a wildlife photographer, animal lover and naturopath, based in Montreal.Ilana has been practicing naturopathic medicine in Montreal since 2001. As of 2010, when she is not in her office, she is out in nature, waiting for an animal to strike a pose, and absolutely loving it.
Growing up with a huge appreciation for nature, photographing wildlife came naturally to Ilana.
She has won several local, national, and international awards. She was the chair of the nature division at the Montreal Camera Club between 2015-2018. She loves to travel, to be out in nature, to discover new places and get to know new birds and other animals, to meet great people and share her love of photography through workshops and lectures.
Ilana has been published in nature magazines and her work has been exhibited at local cafés, art galleries, and local universities. She has permanent collections in a couple of hospitals and also had an exhibit in Paris.
Ilana has been selling her images to private buyers and stores over the past number of years.

Ilana Block est une photographe animalière, amoureuse des animaux et naturopathe basée à Montréal.
Ilana pratique la médecine naturopathique à Montréal depuis 2001. Depuis 2010, lorsqu'elle n'est pas à son bureau, elle est dans la nature, attendant qu'un animal prenne la pose et adore ça.
Ayant grandi avec une grande appréciation pour la nature, photographier la faune sauvage est venu naturellement à Ilana.
Elle a remporté plusieurs prix locaux, nationaux et internationaux. Elle a été présidente de la division nature du Montreal Camera Club entre 2015 et 2018. Elle aime voyager, être dans la nature, découvrir de nouveaux endroits et connaître de nouveaux oiseaux et autres animaux, rencontrer des gens formidables et partager son amour de la photographie à travers des ateliers et des conférences.
Ilana a été publiée dans des magazines sur la nature et son travail a été exposé dans des cafés locaux, des galeries d'art et des universités locales. Elle possède des collections permanentes dans quelques hôpitaux et a également exposé à Paris.
Ilana vend ses images à des acheteurs privés et à des magasins depuis plusieurs années.
